High Protein Treat Ideas

I’m an absolute fecker when its comes to sweet things,

If my body allowed it I’d eat Chocolate until it came out of me ears 😂

Alas, it doesn’t work like that but through my hardship & struggle I’ve come across a few simple ideas when it comes to sweet snacking but with a high protein content & calorie friendly of course 🙂

So without beating around the bush here they are…

Strawberry Mousse

Ingredients

  • 250g Quark Cheese
  • 11.5g  Chivers Strawberry Flavour Jelly
  • Super Value Mini Meringue Shells

Method

  • Mix the jelly crystals in 250ml (about half of recommended) and leave for awhile

 

  • In a pot warm up the quark cheese and then add the jelly while mixing
  • Leave it to cool and put it in the fridge overnight
  • Meringue shells are just an option just to make it a bit more interesting and adding a bit of crunch to it

 

Protein Crepes

Ingredients

To make 4 Crepes you need:

  • 55g Self Raising Flour
  • 125ml Of Almond Milk
  • 1 Large Egg
  • Pinch Of Salt
  • Pinch Of Baking Powder
  • 2 TBSP Of Stevia Sweetener
  • Fulfil Peanut & Caramel Protein Bar

Method

  • In a bowl sieve all the dry ingredients in a bowl
  • Add the egg & mix well
  • Add the almond milk bit by bit while mixing until you get a nice batter(not to thin)
  • Heat up your frying pan to a medium heat & chop up your protein bar while waiting
  • Using frylight cooking spray,  add a fourth of the mixture(roughly 60g-70g) to it and spread out to the edges of the pan

  • Flip it once top of mixture is dry, then add half of your chopped up protein bar and fold one half of the crepe over the protein bar
  • Use your spatula to flatten it down and flip a couple of times until the bar in the middle melts



  • Do it again  😀

 

Lemon Cheesecake Desert

Ingredients

  • 2 x Light & Free lemon yogurt pots
  • 1 x Digestive Biscuit
  • 15g Of Vanilla Protein Powder

Method

  • Your basically just mixing everything together  😆
  • Just with the Yogurt & Protein when you mix these two together just mix well & leave it for a few minutes before adding the biscuit & eating it

0g Fats

 

With Meringue

203 Kcals

29g Protein

21g carbs

0g Fats

 

Protein Crepes

2 crepes & one protein bar

357 Kcals

33g Carbs

10g Fats

 

Lemon Cheescake Desert

250 Kcals

25g Protein

27g Carbs

5g Fats

 

 

 

And thats it  😀 

 

A few simple but very tasty ideas when it comes to having a treat without breaking the bank when it comes to your calories & to help with hitting your protein target  😉
